They’ve soundtracked our summer/winter, so when I heard the artist brief for the first VisualAudio Fest held at The Old Bar Gallery in Melbourne, I knew what had to be done.

The Powerpop girls were inspired by not only the cover art to summer/winter 2024s biggest albums - "Brat" by Charli XCX, "The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess" by Chappell Roan and "Hit Me Hard And Soft" by Billie Eilish, but I also aimed to incorporate the different personalities of the albums through the characters, and I think I did alright.
